Mini SD Card and Ringtones

For Christmas I got a Mini SD card for my 8100. I know that you can get a card reader and data cable so you can put mp3's on your phone. But my question is once these mp3's are on your phone can they be set as ringtones and how? Also, if i have a sound recorded on my phone and i then save it to my memory card is there a way that once it's saved on my card i can set it as a ringtone? I have tried to figure out a way but i can't seem to get it to work. This is the main reason why i got the mini sd card because i didn't want to have to buy ringtones off of get it now! Also, does anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy a data cable or mini sd card reader? Thanks a lot! 🙂

You can't put MP3's on your phone as ringtones with the card and reader. You can put MP3's on the card via the reader for use as MP3's to listen to, but not set as ringtones. To put MP3's as ringtones on your phone you just need either the data cable or Bluetooth USB adapter and Bitpim.
