Has anyone notice that this phone at time's lower's the volume when on a call and if you have heard of a fix for it ? Sometimes it's hard to hear voice of other's your talking to on the LG8100.. Any suggestions?

There has been a volume problem since the phone first launched. Supposed to be corrected in next update, along with camera delay and BT static & echo. Believe it when I see it. VZW has turned into a bunch of s**t heads, not caring about their customers. 🙄

Thanks for all your responses . VRZ is usually good at doing what they say they are going to do. If they don't fixed the volume problem, they may loose alot of there customers. Lot of people has this phone and want it fixed.

Wow, where have you been?

This is old news. The 8100 has a volume bug!
...
I think every LG has a volume bug! Every LG I have owned (VX1, VX10, VX4500, VX6000, VX8100) has had it. You would think they would have fixed it by now. Its like this is the first time they have made a phone.

i think every lg has this problem also,a girl i work with just got the vx5200 and she said at times it is hard to hear...

There is no perfect phone , perhaps we are setting our expections way to high.
Again look where we were 20 yrs ago .. We only had phones that had to be attached to our cars.

I had the 6000 and my daughter has the 6100. There was NEVER a volume problem or camera problem.
...
well i had the vx7000 before my current vx8100 and i can tell ya it had awsome earpiece volume..what happened after that(with current phones)i have no idea..

Knock on wood, I've not had any problems with volume on mine, nor did I ever have problems with my previous VX4500 and before that the VX4400.
I did read on another review site to do the following, which I did when I first got mine. I don't know if that's made the difference or not, but I went ahead and did it, since I had read reviews that there could be problems.
Go to settings and tools menu
Select sounds, adjust master volume to medium, adjust earpiece volume to high, adjust keypad volume to medium high.
Go back to settings and tools menu and go to call settings, select voice privacy and select off, go to auto volume and select off.

cool,i will give it a shot thanx

Thanks for trying a fix here for this problem.
But when you go to Voice privacy on the 8100 your only choices are Enhanced and stanard.
There is no way to turn it off ..
Suggestions ?
Thank you
