A couple of days ago I noticed a new icon on my phone light up...EV...I wondered what the crap was this. So I finally called Verizon to find out expecting the worst. What I found out was that V-Cast was finally available in my area. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW..DIRTBAGS 👿 I got a FREE 30 day trial of the service and was wondering what anyone thought?
The other question I had was now that I have highspeed on my phone can anyone give me a step by step on how use this phone to connect my laptop to the internet. I have win xp sp2 and only DIAL UP 👿 available at my house but my phone works great at home so I thought i would stop wasting 10 bucks a month on the dial up and just use my phone.

I signed up for the V-Cast free trial the middle of December. I was not overly impressed. Very little of what was available for download is aimed at my age group (over 50). The quality was about what I expected but not great. Due to the fact I have worked in the television business all my life, it is tough to accept anything short of broacast quality.
I also did not like the fact that the airtime adds to your totals when checking on the webpage. I know I'm not being charged for it but I still don't like it mixed in with talk time totals.

Can't help you with your second question. Haven't gone there.
