LG VX-8100
WHY DISCONTINUED?
i would just like an true answer on why they would discontinue the 8100. It works fine. I also want to know that since my phone has a year warranty if after a few months all the 8100's are gone and i go to get a phone exchange for warranty will I get a different phone?

If they didn't, maybe they should have. It's been a MAJOR problem ever since release, possibly more than then 710. We all know what happened there. Might be trying to avoid another class action suit. Nobody wants to take responsibility for the problems. VZW admits to problems but I have spoken to LG at least a dozen times but would never acknowledge any of the problems. When C-Net did the testing, it was rated one of the best phones ever. Once VZW tampered with the software, it became a disaster. Fix one problem - screw up another. As bad as it was in the beginning, v01 was superior to v04. LG SWEARS they touched nothing, so why is it worse now. As I stated before, if VZW cared about it's customers so much, as they claim, these issues should...
