Regarding your post in verizon forum on 8100.
The phone has been taken off for the version 6 update. Some phones were already sent out by mistake with the new sofware. 8100 with mod is not to be sold until launch. You can still get the phone in stores becaseu they still have models with 04 in them or can simply flash version 6 models back to version 4. This info was on infocenter for employees, I am posting it in here so i don't get flamed in the verzion forum mentioning the info word☹️ But basically it is common knowledge to any person who has access to verizon internal site.

Thank you. Do you think I should get the V06 update then when it comes out even though I don't have VCAST in my area yet? What does it offer besides MOD?

same question i have been asking, they have been pretty hush hush about what all is going to happen when this new serice launches, I keep checking but they haven't sent any collateral or posted any in depth info on mod yet. Since the sofware update is ties into the music on demand i haven't heard much about the fixes or changes it offers. So i guess i will just waite and see. hopefully they will send out some info when we get a little closer to launch
