LG VX-8100
a few problems
hey... LGvx8100 my phone turns off when I shut it or tap it slightly hard or drop it even a very short distance onto something soft (a bed, for instance). Any ideas on that? It ticks me off.
The second problem I have is that sometimes when the phone is set on vibrate, it rings instead. I can't figure out how I set it to do that! please help! Thanks!

If you choose vibrate through the menu, it will vibrate + ring, but if you choose silent mode by pressing and holding the * button for a few seconds, it will vibrate only.

but either way it shouldnt turn off like that. check the battery connections for corrosion. have you had the phone long? if not, i'd take it back to your store, and get a new 8100!!

I thought that this phone wasn't capable of doing both at the same time. When I set my phone to "vibrate" it only vibrates.
