LG VX-8100
HELP!!
I'm getting an error message when trying to download to my LG 8100 using Bitpim. All drivers are installed and the modem has been recognized for the data cable and I have verified that through Device Manager. When I go to download I get the following error message:
"LG8100 on COM5: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew."
What does this mean and is there any way to resolve this issue???
Please help!

Did you get V07 recently? And make sure you check Menu -> Settings & Tools -> PC Connection. Also check the settings in Data in the "secret" menu. Go menu -> 0 -> 000000 -> Data then check both PortMap options and the Cable DUN mode.

No I believe I still have V06. I know how to access the "secret" menu. What exactly am I looking for as far as options go for Portmap and DUN mode options? Your help is GREATLY appreciated!! 🙂
