GHOST RINGTONES
interesting. after i got the v07 flash "most" of my ringtones disappeared. i thought it was odd that they all didn't. when i tried reloading some with bitpim it got weird. bitpim said they transfered almost instantly instead of taking a minute like usual and not all of them showed up on the phone. also i noticed a lot of memory seemed to have disappeared. i went into bitpim under the filesystem tab and went hunting. brew - 16452 - lk - mr

The same thing happened to me after i got mine flashed. The only real difference though was i tried to load a totally new song on the phone and poof all my old songs where back and they where assigned to the correct contacts and everything, just like nothing ever happened. Do you have ALOT of ringers on your phone? I got like 90?

i've got about 60. mine reappeared sporadically. it also reassigned some of them wrong. i wonder if the same thing happens with get it now ringers. cause if downloading one new one replaced all the old that would be a lot easier than re-downloading everything and calling cust service for the credits.

thats wierd. i had no problem after the update. other than pissing the verizon dude off at the store. he was in a bad mood when i got to the counter, and he tells me that i wont be able to use my mp3 player after i get the update. i was like, "well, there are ways around that." he just gives me a dirty look and takes the phone to the back... nothin like stickin it to the man!!!
