Do you have V04 now? Do you use the MP3 player with the front buttons? If so, it will be the same after the update, it will just play the VCAST Music player instead of the MP3 player (unless you switch back to MP3) and the front buttons will still work. You ask if you need a memory card to download directly to your headset? Do you mean handset? If so, with VCAST Music you can download directly to your phone as long as you have VCAST service in your area.

Have you tried reading the manual. You can also search past post. Your statement about Mary being smarter than you is probably correct. Mary has devoted considerable time reading about and learning her phone. We all benefit when she and others in this group share their knowledge.

As far as how many songs it will hold on internal memory with VCAST Music, I can't answer that as I don't have VCAST service in my area yet so I am using my MP3 player instead with songs on my memory card. Sorry I can't answer that one.
