just wondered if you could tell me how to re-start the mp3 player after theupdate..i know there is a sub-menu but not sure how to get there or what to do when i do..you should be running verizon!!!!! 😈

To re-enable MP3 player, you first hit MENU the 0 then it will ask for a Service Code, hit 000000, go to option 11. Music Setting and choose MP3 enable. Then exit out, go to MENU-SETTINGS & TOOLS-1. Tools-3. Shortcut Key-2. Play Key-then choose My MP3's.

Lol how wonderful is it that this info is everywhere now....when the original thread that had this info in it was deleted by the moderator? However it was up long enough for someone to copy it and paste it into their own thread and take the credit for it. Priceless.

I wasn't copying your info and trying to get credit for it, if that is what you were implying. It has been all over, on HOFO, on Internet sites, tons of places. I knew about it as did others before you first posted it and was just sharing the info and trying to help someone out as is everyone on here.

wow, are we a little insecure, no need to slam mary she is just reposting stuff for people having a hard time digging through posts or are to lazy to look back through old posts, no need to get testy. I think that right there would show you that i'm not implying anything. And again...if you click the link...and look at that thread....you can see it wasn't you mary who did that....the copying and pasting comment was a general reference....and if you want to talk about insecure....take a second to think about the fact that you took it as if I was implying that you did it....which I wasn't. this was your comment that was posted off of mary's thread so it did look like it was a straight jab at mary, no biggie though it might have just been worded a little more general and I wouldn't have thought it was aimed at mary, don't worry i am not going to start a big huge flame war on here, to much of that junk already ruining this forum, so no worries not a big deal.

i think every forum here at phonescoop.com should have someone like mary in there forum. Without her kowledge of the 8100 most of us would be lost on this great phone, myself included. So please dont hate on her. Thanks again Mary...
