where can i see what verson my phone is

if you type #help*help(#4357*4357) it brings you to a general information screen. displays software version, esn, and prl version. also a bunch of other stuff that you most likely won't need.

Interesting. Did you notice that it says the phone is "tri-mode"?

hadn't noticed the trimode thing. i guess they're referring to the two bands of digital for voice and the separate evdo data channel. the same trick works for a lot of lg phones. also noticed a Motorola responded to #help* relatively similarly.
