Work around for v07 so I don't loose MP3 Capibilities.
First of all I know I need to take the card out, before the update . What else needs to be done ? Can someone update me with correct process in updating my phone to v07.
Most important to me is camera delay and volume control.
That is the only reason I am doing this update.

sounds like you know what your doing. get the phone updated, you will loose any gin apps, but you will get credit for them and re download. then just go into the "super secret" menu and re enable your mp3's and change the shortcut kely back to the front keys. and wamo!!! there ya go. several threads on the forum tell you how to do that, just run a search.

I was dialing a number today and phone just was on calling for a min then phone rebooted , never had that happen before. This phone has lots of bugs in it hopefully v07 will help.

GIN apps are Get It Now Applications. Secret Menu is where you go to re-enable the MP3 player after V07 update and do some other changes (MP3 re-enable is simple and harmless, but don't try to change anything else in the "secret menu" unless you know exactly what you are doing). As far as rebooting-shouldn't happen, maybe was a fluke, but if it continues, swap out your phone.
