New user to lg vx 8100 and question about upgrade!
i am new to the lg vx 8100 and i have version 4 right now and i wanna upgrade. could someone let me know what i should upgrade too. i want to keep my mp3 player too. let me know what you guys think and what would be the best upgrade and how to get an upgrade. thanks a lot! 😁

You will want to go with V07 but you will lose mp3 as the standard mode of operation. But you can scroll to other threads here and get the work around to allow your mp3s to work. When in the work around mode you can do mp3s, or wmas, not both. There are also services out there that will convert mp3s to wma (I believe musicmatch does this). You can just go the VZW store and they will upgrade you (takes about 10 minutes).

Only problem is that VZW is not using musicmatch to play .wma. Windows Media Player is the prog. that they are using.
10 min to flash the phone? Last I knew, it was more on the order of 30 min to 1 hour.
