Few questions after upgraded to version 7

After I upgraded my phone from "version 4"
to "version 7". The "My Mp3" option under
"Get Tunes & Tones" directory is gone Confused .
Instead, there are "My Music, Sync Music,
Manage Music" added to it.
I enable the Mp3 function and add the
"play" to the shortcut according to the discussion in the forum. Smile

Now My questions are

1. How do I view the song(Mp3) list or
delete a song in my mini SD card using
the phone menu?

2. What directory and format should I put
my Mp3 to the Mini-sd card?

3. Is there anyway to access these files in
mini-sd without take out the card instead
just using the usb cable.

4. Anybody use the new "Sync Music"
function to transfer music from PC?

Thanks

The reason you are not seeing the "My MP3" option is because V07 added VCAST MUSIC and disabled the MP3 player, taking the options with it. You can, however, re-enable the MP3 player and get those options back. The directions to do so have been posted on here over and over again, so just do a search for "re-enable MP3" as I don't want to go over it again.

To answer the rest of your questions.....

1. See above

2. If using the MP3 player, you will still put them in the MY_MP3 folder.

3. You can only access things on the card from the phone or by putting the card into a card reader on your PC.

4. "Sync Music" works great, but it's only for VCAST MUSIC along with Windows Media Player 10.

hi Mary,
Thanks for you reply.
I forget to reboot the phone
after enabling the MP3 function from the
secret menu. "My Mp3" comes back out OK
after reboot 🙂
Seem like both of your answers are
"Not" to my question 3 and 4.

3. Can not use PC to access the mini SD
card in phone.
4. Can not sync Mp3 instead of Vcast music.

Well, I don't really care about
Vcast stuff. Mp3 is my concern for this phone.
Must find a way to bypass all these verizon
crap.

Thanks
