OK SO IM A NWEBIE SO KEEP THIS IN MIND AS YOU READ THIS..ALLRIGHT SO I GOT MY MINI SD CARD AND DOWNLOADED 2 SONGS FROM VCAST MUSIC..THEN I TOOK MY MINI SD CARD OUT PUT IT IN MY COMPUTER .WHEN I TRIED TO TRANSFER SONGS FROM A C.D THAT MESSAGE I GOT REGARDING THE MINI DISC WAS THAT IT WAS PROTECTED.THAT WAS THE MINI SD WAS..SO HOW DO I TAKE SONGS OFF CDS I HAVE AND GET EM ON MY MINI SD. PLEASE EXPALIN IT TO ME LIKE IM SLOW..OR WELL LIKE GEORGE BUSH. 😈

YOu need to rip the cd on your computer with software like music match. After you rip the cd then they will be in mp3 format and you should be able to put them in the my mp3 folder. Or you can use the verizon method. Rip the cd into windows media ten and that will convert them into mave files then stick them in the my music folder on your card.I think that is waht you where asking.

Look at your mini-SD card. It should have a small slider switch on it which makes it write protected. Slide switch and then you will be able to transfer files to the disk.
