MP3 Player says "concert hall"

I received a replacement 8100 and activated the MP3 player and I noticed that on the front LCD, it says "concert hall" when I am playing mp3's. Do all the 8100's say that or did I activate a certain profile or something? I don't remember my old 8100 saying that. Just a curiosity question. Thanks!

The equalizer has several different listening options. Concert Hall probably doesn't sound so good. When playing hit options then change to what you want.

Thanks Mary,

I didn't even know there were different eq settings. I changed it and it sounded much better. I had quite a bit of crackling with the speakers when on the concert hall, maybe that had something to do with it. Again, thanks for your help!

A live performance. I kinda like it sometimes when I want the "concert" sound. 🙂

I don't use vcast music, I re-enabled my mp3 player in the 07 sw version. When you are playing an mp3, you can open the flip and push the clr button and it will bring up all your mp3's and there is an option menu that you can access by pushing the top right button above your end key. In the option menu, you have the ability to access your equalizer.

You can also just press the voice memo/ camera flash button on the left side of your phone. You can change the equalizer with this button at anytime when using the mp3 player, even when you are listening to a song so you can easily decide which one sounds best.
