Ringtones, mini SD card - Please set me straight
I just acquired an LGVX8100 and I also purchased a mini-SD card and card reader.
1) I have .midi ringtones on the card, that I would like to import into the phone for use as ringtones. In checking this forum, it appears that IS NOT possible and I have to use a USB data cable and downloadable software called bitpim. Is this correct? Are there any chain stores that sell this data cable? Verizon only sells it bundled with other items. Radio Shack did not have the cable.
2) Is there a media downloader that will allow me to EXPORT photos and sounds from my phone to my computer?
3) If I use a mini SD card can I IMPORT wallpaper to the phone for use instead of emailing photos to 10 DIGIT PHONE [email protected]?

1. No, it is not possible w/out Bitpim. You can get a cheap data cable on ebay or buy a Bluetooth USB adapter instead (much easier, IMO).
2. Since you have a card and reader, you can move your photos to the card and put them on your computer.
3. Again, you can put photos from your computer to your card and them onto your phone's memory.
