These threads are a great source of information (or misinformation) and confusion. Thanks for the update.
Please be aware that emails sent to executive at verizion has yeilded individual responce unlike the one on verizion web site. In questioning if a camera version will be available, his responce was yes in 60 days. Well anyhow, back to Camera issue, apparently the i730 is export version of the SPH-M4300 released in Korea. The features look identical to the i730 -- except for the 1.3MP camera. It's just not convincing that Samsung cannot outfit the i730 with a camera due to technical instability. Totally not convincing. How could Samsung outfit a camera on a same-spec phone and after it's been exported to the States, the device suddenly cannot stabilize. Also, I have used Samsung phone since...forever. They have managed to outfit a phone in Korea with a 5MP camera. It's been out for awhile now...I think it proves the poin...

This site apparently buys used cell phones for recycling(?). Anyhow, they list two SCH-i730; one is $68 and the other $75. I checked the differences and apparently the $75 has "built in camera" as opposed to $68 which apparently doesn't. Is this a clue as to if Verizon's planning for a week-later release of camera version?
If I were to buy the non-camera version this week, would there be an upgrade available? I mean, is it possible at all??
