Soft reset

How exacly do i do a soft reset, i know holding down left slider and pushing reset button does a hard one but not sure on the soft...thanks

To soft reset, do nothing but push the reset button. You can use the stylus to push the button which is in the hole on the bottom left (as you face the screen) of the phone. Don't push in the hole on the bottom right, it is the microphone.
