Samsung SCH-i730

My Kyocera, which is dead, was replace with the I730. I used to be able to sync to a public folder "group contacts" instead of my personal contact folder. I would like to do the same with the I730, but I can't seem to find out how. Is there a work around for that or a 3rd party software.

Did anyone update the software from Verizon and did this make a difference? Trying to decide weather to buy it or not.

When i plug my headset into the phone to listen to my MP3's it activated my phone and the last number dialed starts dialing. when the headset isnt plugged in the mp3's play fine. and when the headset IS plugged in and playing if i hit ANY BUTTON it starts dialing the number. i have to unplug the head set and slide it open and hit the end button for it to hang up. its driving me insane

Does anyone know if VZ has any plans to update Samsung i730 to Windows Mobile 5.0?

Anybody have an idea why my i730 does a soft reset while I am trying to turn it off and move the power switch to lock? This has happened to me several times and is beginning to get annoying.

Okay, what's the problem? I download the video clips to my device. I use the File Explorer to find them. I click on them and get the same message over and over and freakin over again:
'cannot open file find application and open from there.' Somebody please help with this freakin frustrating propblem !!!

I can't seem to connect to any WiFi hot spot. Whenever I turn on the WiFi the phone tries to connect to the National Access (#777). Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be great. Thanks...

Can I use an SD/IO Wi-fi card to access the web on the i730 instead of using the built-in (crippled) Wi-fi? Since I heard that the i730's Wi-fi won't let you connect to hotspots unless you subscribe to Verizon's data plan. I also heard that if you don't use the data plan and connect using the built-in wi-fi that the phone may switch to EVDO without notice and start charging your monthly bill per kb. Is any of this true or is Verizon just trying to scare it's customers into getting the data plan? If it IS true though, will my idea about disabling the built-in wi-fi and EVDO and using an SD/IO Wi-fi card work?

For some reasone when I slide down my keypad, it does not light up any more. I have the backlight settings set to 30secs.

Is there a way I might have mistakenly turned it off?
