Motorola V635
T-Mobile in the USA with the V635
🙂 Has anyone used the v635 with Tmobile in the USA? Will Tmobile send the tzones settings for this phone if you call them? I am currenly using the Nokia 6230i and it's ok, I just think I would like the V635 better.

I am currently looking into the settings for T-Mobile...Trying to figure out how to get MMS messages to the carrier from a different one (not going through), SO...I have had a T-Mobile SIM in there and it works just fine, but I have yet to test out the other settings.
When I purchased my phone I had to go to the site for my carrier to have everything sent in OTA transmissions...That is covered in another post, originally from en4rcer, but here's the T-Mobile counterpart of that site:

Now, I know with Cingular you choose the V551 as your device and it works just fine (see the other posts), T-Mobile does have a similar model # that is really the same thing...as to whether ...

Well, I currently have the Nokia 6230i but I have sold it and I am purchasing a V635. When I got the settings for my Nokia 6320i, I just called t-mobile tech support and they sent me the settings. You may try that, I am going to try that when I get the v635 and see if they can find a simular model and get me the right settings. Let me know if you get them and I will let you know if I do. I just got my v635 set up with T-Mobile.. I called the regular support number 611 on the handset and asked to be connected to Tech services.. they transferred me and the Tech person was able to look up the settings for the v635 and although they couldn't send them over the air he went through everything step by step so I could enter it all in the phone.. they didn't give me any grief over the non supported phone like I was expecting.
