Cingular sys "NO" to tethering
If they try to pull me out of Media.NET for this, I will certainly leave. Why else did I sign up with Cingular? Because all the other bluetooth phones out there are crippled to death. When I signed up, this was not part of the agreement, so I DISAGREE.

You get a much better experience when you have a true data plan on your account anyway.
MEdiaNet and the data connect plans are very different when it comes to how they are handled by the network.
MEdiaNet is provision over the wap gateway, where all the phone data is carried, is compressed(images not as sharp), and the speed is slower.
Data connect plans are provisioned over the isp gateway which is more robust and faster.
At those prices I'd go with Verizon's EV-DO.
Come on Cingular, what are you thinking? Next step let's cripple the bluetooth. 👿
