caller id, glitch?

I'm wondering if any other Nokia 6682 users have issues with the caller ID function of the phone.

When I receive an incoming call from a number that is listed in my contact directory along with another number (home and work, let's say) it does not cause the phone to display the identity of the caller, or activate a designated ringtone ascribed to that caller. I have tried entering seperate listings ("mom", and "mom1"), and I have altered the default settings to no avail. I know the phone recognises these numbers as it always identifies the person via their number when I'm making outbound calls. Can anyone tell me how to remedy the situation? Nobody at Cingular seems to have an answer.

p.s.-This is my second 6682, and it is free of the other glitches that plagued my first phone (SIM contacts transfer, etc.), so I don't think it's a software/firmware issue, but I have the same 64k SIM card as always-could this be the cause of my problems?
