total newbie here to DLing programs on phones lol but i have an excuse i was a verizon customer and they dont let you do that

Usually, the best way is to download them to a PC, then upload them to the phone via the Nokia PC suite (included is an application manager). It may be also possible to use opera to get to the site & DL directly to the phone.

I got a card reader (Sandisk - http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(1145)-SD DR-89-SanDisk_ImageMate_12in1_ReaderWriter.as px) - it's cheaper to buy elsewhere online
I connect my Kingston 1 gig RS-MMC dual voltage card I got for like $50 online and transfer my files that way - I find it's much easier and faster than using the USB cable.
Once you transfer a .sis file to the folder of your choice (I usually make a folder called "downloads" - just go to File Manager in your menu under Tools and then install it!

vnes and vboy (play nintendo games on your phone!!)
bestlock (really good phone locking program - password protected!)
another program I forget the name of that makes it so the phone won't work if someone steals your phone or you lose it and they try using a different SIM card in it
barmate - millions of drinks recipes!! handy!!
virgin radio - listen online
opera
stonejam - fun game
got tons more!!! i need the 2 gig card!!! (only have a 1 gig right now)
