Motorola PEBL U6
SPKRPHONE
To clear up what appears to be a major point of contention, not to mention point of confusion, the PEBL U6 WILL HAVE A SPEAKERPHONE. The lack of mention on some sites (including Moto) of this feature is purely an oversight. Spoke to a Moto rep today and they confirmed that the PEBL does indeed have a speakerphone. In fact, the rep was shocked that I would even ask, as this feature "is, and has been a standard feature on all Moto units."

Yes, this has been a "feature" on all Moto units, but the speakerphone feature on the Moto units isn't really a speaker phone. You can only activiate the speaker phone on most units (like my V600) once you get into the call.
I can't hit the speakerphone, dial a number (or dial a number and hit the speakerphone) and use the speaker until I'm connected to my party.
There is one model from Verizon that truly acts like a speakerphone, and hopefully, some of the newer Moto units will do the same. But as far as the fun...
