Nokia 6101 / 6102
6102 available?
no i was hopping to get it the day it came out but they didnt have it because like usuall they delayed it again so for now i have the 6230 which is actually a really nice phone but i want a flip

the 6230i is coming soon as well, and that has more features than the regular 6230 and the 6101/6102.
i kind of wanted a flip phone as well this time but there aren't any nokia flip style phones available in the US that have as many features as the 6230i will have, not unless nokia plans on releaseing a 850 quad version of the N90. now that is a sweet flip phone.
the 6101/6102 seems like a really cool phone to me but it has small memory and no removable memory, can't playback mp3s, no FM support, no bluetooth support. maybe i don't need all that but i am just wondering when nokia is going to offer a flip in the US with all these features and more.

Where did you hear that the 6230i was coming to the US? Because that is the phone I really wanted. Personally I don't care if it is a flip or not. I just want a Nokia with 2 features Bluetooth and speaker. Please let me know where you heard this.

jet head over to the 6230i forum and you will read all about it 🙂 it should be here in about 2 weeks or so. personally i think it is a much better phone. also there is a great review of it at gsmarena. go check it out.

If this is true, cause you never know with cingular this will probably be the best handset they offer. Within reason I couldn't care less how much it will be. So hopefully it will be out soon. Thanks for the info.

Yea i do like the 6230i but i dont need most of the features on it plus i dont want to spend the money because im paying full retail and im just gonna get the 6102 cause i dont need much i just want a nokia flip phone

Ive compared the styling of the 6101 and the 6102.
I prefer the 6101 to the 6102 just my preference thats all.
