Front display question

One thing I'm not a big fan of with this phone is how the time on the front display is TINY. Does anyone know of a way to enlarge that? That really puts a damper on using it as a quick way to tell the time while you are hustling down the street.

I tried the phone again today and there is a way to increase the size of the font.

(Also, there is a separate setting for the dialing digits when placing phone calls. It has "normal" and "large" just like most other phones.)

But the text font can be changed independently... I did it!! I admit, it isn't a super size, but it is bigger by perhaps 25 to 40%.

When in TXT MSG mode, look for "Options" then "Format Text"!

Enjoy!! 🙂

ps- Be sure to change font size BEFORE you start typing. I don't think there's a way to mark previously typed text and then change its font.

Thats nice to know and I didn't realize it had all the other options for colors and such (I wonder what actually shows up on other, year old phones), but it still sucks that you have to change it manually every single time. It'd be nice to set a standard font size, color, and style for every text you send. Also, you can't change the size of texts that you read.

Thank goodness I'm young and my eyes work well.
