Is there any way you can make a sound from My Sounds into a ringtone?
Is it true the only way to get the ringtone is to buy it from verizon?

Well the simpelest way to get a ringtone is thru the verizon plan but they charge you for per use listening to it. at least that the way i read the material.
No it is not the only way, but ahh, research the ringtone topics here and someone will trigger your thought processes. from what i have read it is not easy but it is do-able.

On the Verizon ringtones, you do not get charged per use, you only get charged minutes to download it (unless your downloading on nights or weekends, which is free air-time) and the price to buy it. Once you pay for it, you use it for as long as you own the phone!

This phone is kinna new. So it shares many of the same electronics as the VX8100 What is possible with that phone will be possible with this phone PLUS the added convienences. The first thing i am going to do is to get a data cable then i will get the memory disk and reader then i will look for and follow the description lain out by those who have suceeded. Do a search for ringtones here and read some of those responses. it like Ragu spagetti sauce, It's in there. They may not reiterate it here because it is said and done. Seek and ye shall find.
