Mobile Web Airtime Question
Mobile web uses airtime...does it use it ALL the time, or only when you download/refresh/update a webpage?
Also, is the airtime billed as if it were a call? In other words, if your in peak time its peak mins or if you in night/weekend, your billed night/weekend mins?

It charges the entire time your on it. It's free on nights and weekends, and IS charged as a regular call.

Yes, I do. I had had it for a long time and didn't think I used it enough to keep paying for it so I cancelled it. I then realized after that how much I actually did like having it on there to check e-mail and such when on the go, so I put it right back on. I figure for about $1 a week, it is well worth it.

It is only 15dollars and you do not have to be in a vcast market or coverage area to take advantage of the unlimited mobile web. your vcast video will not load but you will still be able to unlimited mobile web in a general verizon 1x area

You get the moble web and thats it.With the 4.99 plan it charges you per min.With the vcast pack of course you get the videos but you also get to surf unlimited and browse get it now unlimited at any time.Ask your self how many times you would call 411 to find a movie or directions to somewhere or even check email.411 cost 1.49 per call.I forward my email to a yahoo account and I am able to check it anytime I want.It is well worth the money

When I purchased my 9800 a few days ago, I selected the VCast Pak @ $15/month per advice from several forum posts. And I am thankful for that information. As previously stated, VCast Pak comes with Mobile Web and unlimited Web Browsing inside and outside of VCast service areas. Not necessary to be concerned about your minutes.

I too selected the VCast Pak but ahh, i don't live in the Vcast Area so it ahh has been removed till i know more about the Vcast bennies or it comes to our area.
