Not sure what you mean by version number, perhaps you are thinking of the 8100? The software version number is way different from that of the 8100 series.
But neverthelesss, here are the version numbers from the phone:

PRL Version: 50386
Browser Ver: 6.2.3.2
Get It Now Ver: 3.1.2.42
No this phone suffers non of the problems that the 8100 has.
