9800 bitpim recognition
ok im working through this bitpim and my new 9800 i will probably be posting many questions about this process and am following the thread on howardforums first of all i have the drivers installed for the data cable using version 7.3 im choosing com port 8 and 4 not really sure which one so i tried bolth bitpim does not even recognize the phone also it says to go to\Brew\16452\lk\mr\ on howards 'what' where is this. any help pleaaase

found it easier to connect via bluetooth.

Also, Bitpim doesn't recognize the 9800 yet, but should in future updates. The only way to use it now is going in to the file system as suggested on HoFo. Just a warning.....You need to be very careful doing this because you could really mess up your phone using the file system through Bitpim. Your safest bet is to wait until Bitpim supports the 9800.

I dunno bout a thorough, or perfect recognition. But ahh, Bitpim shows up as a little square box kinna like this -!+!-/ when i click on the + i get into my phone. i have noodled around in there but ahh,i donwanna change nuttin. I know it is my phone, because i have changed the files sizes of some areas by taking videos and pix. Imma treadin lightly here. The truth is the model is not shown and Bitpim phone detect says i have a Other cdma phone on port 4. Thats bout all i know fer now.
