MP3 data read error
I just got the 9800. Finally got the correct SD card (Verizon sold me the wrong one) Loaded up some MP3s that I made using a free converter. Each song plays for 2 minutes and then I get a Data read error and the phone goes black, then comes back on cycling through the songs. It doesnt stop until I hit end. I confirmed my MP3 songs play through on the PC. Any ideas?

This is a dup. finally read through enough threads and found another user with the same problem. It looks like my free converter might not be all that good. So, back to the drawing board. I am still looking for more thoughts if others have had to work through this problem. I really want to have all this phones features working 😡

I am confused. Why are you converting the mp3s at all? If they are in mp3 format already then you just load and play.

Nevermind I didnt realize you were ripping them from a CD. I thought you were downloading mp3s from a site.
