Hi guys, im thinking about switching from a Sidekick 2 and would like to know what the differences are in IMing?
Im confused as how they charge you for it, is it all free, is it included in vcast? Is it a text message? Also, can you have multiple IM's open at once?
Are there any other glarring differences in the Sidekick2 and the 9800? Thanks

they charge u per message. when u send an "i.m." it counts as an outgoing text. and when u get an "i.m." it counts as an incoming txt. My recomendation would be to get a reallllly good text messageing plan.
You can have multi convos going at once when ur running the program it shows u a list on convos followed by ppl online, away and offline. U open a convo just by selecting the open convo s/n.
dont kno much about the sidekick 2...but this phone rocks..
