Thinking about the 9800

Hey all, i have my NE2 and have it pretty much narrowed down between the 9800 and the razr. But I have never owned a candy bar phone and don't know if I will be able to get used to it. If anyone was in this similar position, can you tell me about your transition. Also can anyone compare the cameras of the 9800 and the razr by any chance? Thank you very much.

Hi. I was in the same position. I HATED candy bar phones and swore I'd never own one. Until I saw this baby. It's a great little phone, and it really surpasses the razr in every way. I think it's like today's market for mp3 players. If you're all about being the cool kid in town, then you're going to want an ipod to be like everyone else. But if it's the music you love, then you know that the ipod is an inferior product. Ditto with this phone. If you're into quality technology, the LG is the hands down winner.

How is the camera on this phone compared to the 8100 or the razr? I don't really need a ton of mp3 stuff because I have an "inferior" 30GB ipod, but I would really be interested in putting movies on the phone and storing lots of pictures.

I am trying to make the same choice (RAZR/9800) and will probably go with the 9800 just because I prefer the function of the 9800 (essentially a mini laptop) v. the form of the RAZR (OK it is slim and that's about it). The RAZR's lack of additional memory makes the MP3 player and photo capabilites just an amusement.

I have a feeling that once I go to a QWERTY keyboard with Internet, I'll never go back to a number-pad only phone - and I am not even a texter.
