LG V versus the LG 8100

🙄
I have to know why people are telling me all kinds of different stuff about these phones, basically I have heard that the 8100 is better, but I dont see much of a difference other then the body style. I just ordered the V today and I liked it b/c of many reasons, one being the QWERTY keyboard. Someone said that "well the 8100 is the same as the V but $100.00 cheaper", Any feedback will be greatly appreciated...

I own both and you almost hit it on the head as far as not no much difference. The only things the 9800 has that the 8100 does not is

1 keyboard
2 card scanner
3 wireless sync
4 text to speech
5 price

off the top of my head thats all I can think of. Anybody welcome to add to the list.

🤭 OK so it wasnt a stupid purchase just a bit more expensive then....
1 stupid question, is there a way to get some kind of cover for the camera lens? I keep hearing about how it gets smudged real easy...Let me know!! Thanks!

Other than keeping it in a case I dont see how else it could be done. There where only 2 phones Verizon put out that had a cover for the camera lens. The Kyocera KX2 and the LG VX6100. Go for the 9800...or the V what ever they are calling it these days. You cant go wrong

I've had 2 different 8100s and my roomate has an 8100 also. I ended up trading mine in because all the 8100s have volume issues...it was unbearable. I now have the 9800, or the V as some call it, and it is a huge step up. The quality seems better

Ok, cool I actually started feeling better about getting the V or 9800 now then before... It seems like there is so much more you can do with it and from just some of the phone reviews here it is performing very well. Well I will be adding to the phone review once I get it nad Im able to play with it.... 😉
