98 restarts after making tones
I got my data cable for the 9800 and the drivers and I was in business.I figured out how to get bitpim to recognize the
phone and was off and running making my own tones. I
made a few tones then unplugged and made sure they
were there and repeated that process a few times. The
last time i did this however, when i check in my
ringtones from my phone it powers the phone off and
then back on. It does it only when i go to my
ringtones and not my sounds, where i have some clips i
saved as well. I cannot access any of my tones now. does anyone know what to do to fix this?

my 9800 turns off when ever it wants, i bought my phone four days ago, it started after i used bitpim..

How many ringtones did you have in there before it began to restart? I think there's like a 2-4MB limit on ringtones, and i've heard that if you go over that limit that this problem might occur. Perhaps delete a ringtone or 2 to see if that helps the problem.

I think you may need a software update...the same thing was happening to me and I took my phone to the store and they gave me a software update. You need to check what software version you have...go to settings & tools, then to system, then to device info, then sw version, look at sw version..make sure the last two numbers say 02, if it says01, then you need a software update, which will fix your problem.
