9800 using evdo with my laptop
I see all this talk about using the 9800 as a high speed modem for laptop using either BT or cable. Can someone tell me in DETAIL how to use the 9800 as a modem for my laptop? Will it be high speed (EVDO)? Please...in detail...explain this to me.

the newest mobile office kit will include the s/w 5.5.1 that will allow you to select between 1x and EVDO. BUT if you want to use the EVDO side you DO have to add the broadband plan to that line which will allow unlimited use, $59.99 per month (on top of whatever your curt voice plan is). Or you can just use the 1x and it only counts towards your normal mins (p, op, or n&ws) when you are connected and you do NOT have to add the $59.99 data plan.
