LG V VX-9800
Problem...cannot find help anywhere
Ok the LG VX9800 has a built in mp3 player and has built in speakers to listen to it...But my problem is it has a 2.5 mm plug and i would think that if i put a 2.5 mm music headset it would not work to listen to music because that outlet is used for talking and listening to conversatins and i would think... anyone know what i can do or what headset i could buy?

A stereo headset with a 2.5mm jack will work fine. I did it on my 8100 all the time when I had that phone.

or you can purchase the rorck e1 2.5mm to 3.5mm convertor off the cingular.com site. heard that works well.

Yes, I have that as well so that I can use my ipod headphones when I forget the ones for my phone. It does work well.

Yaaaaawn. More bad advice given. Please dont just spurt something out unless you know what the heck your talking about. NO a 2.5mm head set will not work unless it is a 2.5 mm that has 3 rings on the plug. Say it with me 3 RINGS. Unless you look for that, you will get a 2.5 mm headset with 2 rings and it wont work, thats unless you dont mind listening out of one of the ear pieces and twirling the other around in tiny circles while you listen to your mp3's in mono!
This is what the manufactur says to use and what places like Radio Shack and people on this site obviously dont know.
