Yellow Tint on Right Side of Screen

I have had this phone for a little over 1 week and I absolutely love it. But, today I noticed a little bit of a problem. On the extreme right side of the inner screen, I noticed a yellow/brown tint to the screen when it is supposed to be white. It kind of reminds me of when you get a speaker too close to a CRT TV and the picture gets tinted on that side of the screen closest to the picture.

Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be due to the speaker being right next to the screen (I didn't think this affected LCD displays as it does CRT displays)? Should I have VZW swap it out or is this normal?

eh. hm.
i dont seem to have that problem. ☚ī¸ i checked my screen on a white background. it looks perfect to me.. no tint at all.

if you have insurance and are REALLY REALLY bothered by it, swap it out.

I don't need to use my insurance....I am still within my 15 days.

I'm just thinking that if I go back into that store, I will end up swapping it for the Treo 700w. đŸ¤Ŗ đŸ¤Ŗ đŸ¤Ŗ

I am always wanting to try something new.

actually I DO see a yellow part on my screen, its VERY faint, but i do see it.

i got a completely black picture and viewed it.

mine is to the left side of the screen..but uhh..i dun think this is a big problem. if anything it seems like the side light for the LG or something .

when the vibrant colors of my phone are showing, i never knew it was even there, i had to dig out a pure black bg to see it O_O

Good to know that I am not going nuts. But I am also glad to know that it is normal. I feel better now. Thanks, milkmandan. 😁

even without insurance you have a year warranty that covers this type of stuff as long as there's no liquid damage or anything. make sure they get you a brand new phone if it's within the first 30 days.

Should I take it back (I am in my first 15 days) or is this type of tint on the edge of the screen of this phone normal due to the speakers and/or backlight?

i can't see you problem exactly..but srsly, if you are still within your 15 days and haven't talked over 30 mins then you should be okay..

web time counts as timer as well, soo yeah. i dont know what your return policy is, but mine is 15 days, and anything over 30 mins of web time or call use, will invalidate it for yeah...

but srsly, if its bugging you that much, just return it..
i think its caused by backlight, not a major problem, unless your case is more serious

I have never heard anything about talking over 30 mins on the phone. I always was told that it was 15 days with no questions asked.
