Getting the phone early

It will be interesting to see what kind of response I get from Verizon and some of the Verizon workers on this site. I e-mailed Customer Service requesting that I be allowed to upgrade early and still get my New Every Two. I told them that I had no problem with adding two years to the end of my current contract. I should probably hear back from them on Monday. It should be interesting to see what their response is. 😁

yeah that would be interesting.

although, not to be a ***, my guess is they will say no >_< and give you some ****ty response.. -_-

Pretty much the response I expected. T-Mobile is nicer when it comes to upgrading.

Here is the response:

Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless through our website. My = name is Kelley, and I am happy to assist you regarding upgrading your = equipment.

I have reviewed your account and found that as of May 31, 2006 you = will be eligible to participate in our Equipment Upgrade Program. Our = Equipment Upgrade policy requires you to have two months or less remaining = on your current Customer Agreement to receive a discount towards the = purchase of a new wireless phone.

When i with T-Mobile, They allowed me to upgrade half way through my contract and gave me the special price. The only stipulation was that I had to aggree to add the new contract to the end of my existing contract. I offered this, but it didn't help. I hate to buy it now and lose my New Every Two.

yup verizon is pretty much an ass about this..

*sigh* i thot it would be like this.

oh well..after all verizon does give the best reception..i guess thats our draw back
so PSKKJM are you gna get the vx9800? ;)

I am thinking about it. I am going to get it, but the decision is whether I want to pay 199 or wait till June and hope that I can get it will the rebate and my New Every Two and get it for 99. 😢

yeah the reason tmobile is nicer about that stuff is because their service is ****, and they makin alot of money off the people they have. so if they have to subsidise the price of the phone for a customer to keep them happy, they will. verizon has 47+ million and to allow that to 1 they would have to allow that to all. which i dont see happening. anywho. yeah tmobile sucks.
