I want as many peoples opinions as posible. Here is the question.

I am not eligibly fo my New Every Two until May 31. I want the 9800. There is no o 😁 ther phone I want. I have a fully operational VX-7000. I could upgrade and get the phone for $199 now, or wait till May 31 and hope to get it for $299-100-100=$99.

Under these circumstances, what would you do?

Thanks for your input.

well it depends on what type of person you are, if you're like me, you'll get it ASAP because I don't like waiting for stuff i want ;)!! I could have purchased the phone online for $199.99, but instead i went to the store to purchase it for $299.99 and i have to do the mail in rebate thing in wait. I wanted to have the phone asap so i went to the store instead of waiting for it in the mail! So it's up to you if you want to save $100.00 and wait the 3-4 months!

I would get the phone now, you obviously want it now or you post two threads. If you are like me you will want something else in 5-6 months anyway, hopefully that will not be the case with my 9800, I love it. Great looking phone, nothing else like it out there.

Now what are your thoughts. I talked to Verizon and they said they can give it to me for $249 with a $100 mail-in rebate. That would be $149 after rebate. Is it really woth waiting 3 months for $50?

😁 I decided to go with the 8100. I have 15 days to evaluate it when it comes.

The sad part of getting a new phone is that you lose the programs that you purchased. I wish Verizon would credit you for them when you repurchase them. 😡

👿 That isn't very nice. Feature for feathure, they are very similar. Though I really liked the idea of the Qwerty keyboard, I decided it might be more of an inconvenience. But, depending on the 8100, I could still end up with the 9800. I am hoping the 8100 works out.
