The reason why you lose your assignments if because after loading your songs using bitpim you deleted the ringtone.dat and ringtonesize.dat files right? Those are the files that keep your associations and your phone reads them and what not. It also keeps your assigned ringtones to the right name. that is why after you load a new ringtone they get 'shifted'.

im not sure what u mean by deleting my "ringtone.dat" and "ringtonesize.dat" files. i don't delete nething when i load my ringtones. all i do when i load new ringtones is plug, transfer, and un-plug. that's it, i don't "delete" nething. im not sure what u mean, i'd greatly appreciate it if you could explain it a little to me. maybe there's something im not aware of and i just need to know what to do so it doesn't happen again. thanks.

ok, all im doing is going to the ringers tab then clicking on add. then after i select my song i convert it. i set it to stereo, mp3, 224kbps, and a sample rate of 48000. after it's done converting i click on ok. then i go to data, send phone data, check mark the box next to ringtone and make sure that the "add" circle is filled in instead of the replace all. and then i transfer, by clicking on ok...please tell me what im not doing or what im doing wrong!!?? thank you so much. BTW the link u posted was an mp3????!!! cool song, but didn't help much
