Ringtone Help
Can someone let me know what kind of data cable i need to buy so i can transfer ringtones to my phone, or i have a bluetooth adapter, will that work.
Also what is the process

as for the cable..i got this one from ebay and it works great. Make sure you get a cable that supports the LG vx9800, dont get scammed with a bad cable.

Thanks for your help, but i dont understand. Is the program i use called bitpim. i thought bitpim was just for bluetooth.

BitPim is a program on your computer that connects (COMPUTER) to ---> (PHONE)
BitPim has two ways to connect to your phone:
1. Through Bluetooth
2. Through Data Cable
BitPim will read your phones FILE SYSTEM, and with instructions, you can find the right folder to put RINGTONES or MP3s or VIDEOS. All in the right place so that your phone will read and play them back correctly 🙂
If you want to use Bluetooth to connect your COMPUTER to PHONE, then your computer must also have bluetooth. (this is not recommended, i've heard some complications)
The best way is Data Cable (with the link i provided for you previous post). No problems and works fine.
