I am not overjoyed with the 8100. Howvever, I was wondering wether anyone could tell me how the ringer volume on the 9800 is. I have heard that it isn't that good because the speakers are on the inside.

personally i think it has to do with the volume of the ringtone you are using

and yes the speakers are in the inside, but those aren;t the speakers that the ringtones use.

you can distinctly here a difference between a ringtone and playing an mp3 through speakers while the flip is closed.

so the 9800 is good on volume wise, just gotta find the right ring tone.

I have changed my mind. The more I play with the 8100, I think I am probably going to keep it. This coming weekend will be the deciding factor. But, I found a sight where I can get a 1700 Mah Battery for $49.99. That is 70% better than the 1000 Mah Battery that came with the phone. The 1700 Mah should last a decent amount of time.
