Can you be on a call and be surfing the internet at the same time? Or be on a call and search through your address book for another contact person without ending your current call?

multi-tasking on most phones is impossible, cept for smartphonse that run windows mobile.

Surfing the internet requires your phone to be in connection with verizon. Thus, if a call comes in while you are on the internet, your connection will get cut off. Cuz phone calls take priority, it is a CELLphone after all.

but you CAN search through your address book and do some other things while making a phone call.

Just anything that requires you to connect to your service provider, needs to be done seperately. (eg. internet surfing and dling VCAST vidoes can't be done at the same time, or making a phone call and dling VCAST)

CORRECTION.

If you are surfing the web, and an incoming call comes in, you DO NOT get disconnection from your internet, it keeps going O_O.

as soon as your current call ends, as long as you didn't flip the hatch back down, the Mobile Web is still open and you will immediately resume browsing and nothing has changed.

I just figured it out today.

as for mp3s. i think because having an active phone call takes priority over the speakers, mp3s will stop..but when the call ends, your phone will return to the mp3 playlist menu.

a few notes. although you're browser remembers where you were when a call comes in i don't think you can actually access the net during the call. you can access your contacts, calendar, and even send and receive txt messages during a call.
