Deal for this phone for current customers?

Does anyone know how I can get the current offers for new customers for a current verizon user? My 2 years will be up in April, and my wife and I want new phones. The V seems like a phone we are both interested in. Ideally, I would like to be able to keep our mobile numbers if we switch phones.

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum to ask this...

Thanks!

You are close enough to your contract end to be able to get any of the deals with a new contract... Just pick you favorite verizon agent and go talk to them.

By "agent" do you mean a Verizon store? (Not a place like Best Buy or Circuit City?)

And I will just need to start a new contract (and keep my numbers)? Do you still get the 14 day trial period when you do this?

Sorry for all the questions, and Thank You for the response!

Agent = authorized Verizon Agent = Mall kiosk, corp store, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc...
My preference is to generally deal with the Corp Stores since that's their "only" line of business but that's purely a personal preference only

And yes you keep your numbers.
All you should need to do to get the discounts and/or rebates is go to a new contract.

Question: Did you have NE2 on your old contract? (New Every 2?) If so you may find that you are eligible for some even better deals. Go talk to them....

Yes, I am pretty sure we have the NE2 as well...

And we could probably do this right now if we wanted (being only a month or so from the 2 year point)?

Thanks again

I know you can do the renewal thing after the 22 month mark of a 24 month contract -- not sure if you can do the NE2 thing at that time or need the full 24 months -- call customer service or duck in a store and ask them. If its the full 24 month thing then if you go to a corp store you might be able to sweet talk them into doing it now as opposed to making you wait a month -- they generally have a bit more leeway than simply an authorized agent.

Good luck...
