Just installed a Kensington Adapter on my laptop...the device has been paired with my phone with no problems...the phone recognizes my computer and vice a versa...however, when I open BitPim ver 8.13 it tells me there is no phone detected...I reinstalled both BitPim and the software that came with the adapter to no avail...any help would be much appreciated...Micky

I have the same problem with my internal BitPim not recognizing the phone. It asks if I want to run settings, which I've already done.

But this is fine, as long as you have the serial port numbers matched up. Even though BitPim doesn't recognize my phone as being detected, I can still move things between my laptop and phone via BitPim. Using this guide might help you out:

It'll walk you through the process, and don't worry about the not matching. Just click the view filesystem like it says and you'll have the phone's folder directory to work with. Hope this helps.
