Can this phone do e-mail
Guys,
I just left Verizon for CING - and got the Nokia 9300 - pretty nice phone - except for music. I KNOW that the V can do music really good - what I'm wondering is whether or not there is any way to check my comcast.net POP3 e-mail?

I am pretty sure that you can check your comcast mail since you can check yahoo, aol, aim, and g-mail. I'm not 100% since I don't own this phone yet, but that would be my best guess.

Ok, I finally got the phone and I went to comcast.net and you have to install a flash plugin for it to work. If that works then you should be able to check your email.

I am not sure about that...I can go right to www.comcast.net and then click Lite Home Page when the comcast site comes up. Scroll down and you will see your login boxes then you can access your email from there. It does take a few steps to get there though. My question is why Verizon is charging $19.99 a month to wireless sync email to this phone. While other carriers have that option for free or a one time fee. I have not heard of any sort of Plug in needed to access Comcast email though.

The reason VZW charges $20 for Wireless Sync is for profit. Also, it allows for your corporate email to be sent directly to your phone. As far as I know you can't do that for free with the other carriers.
