if i buy this phone on ebay...
how do i activate this phone? will it activate as if it was a brand new phone, even though someone else has used the code before?

the easiest way to activate the phone is online if you have a verizon wireless my account set up. from what i know they charge $35 if you activate your phone by calling customer service or going into a store. your phone number simply moves onto the new phone like a new phone, any data currently on the phone will stay there unless they erased everything prior to sending it.
