Can you use MP3's as ringtones?

I have the V710 and I can copy over an MP3 to use as my ringtone. Can the LG VX-9800 do the same?

Nope, i had this same question.

You have to use the USB cable to transfer ringtones from your pc to the phone using Bitpim.

It is very easy and simple.

I forgot to mention that your ringtones can be in mp3 format...but ur mp3s from the My MP3s lists cannot be use as ringtones...kinda confusin but yeah...
